If you’re considering ABA therapy for your child, here’s a step-by-step guide to what the process typically looks like when going through insurance:
Step 1: Confirm a Diagnosis
To qualify for ABA services through insurance, your child must have a formal diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. This evaluation is conducted by a licensed medical professional, such as a pediatrician or psychologist. Not sure where to start? Your insurance provider can help you locate in-network diagnostic providers.
Step 2: Fit Screening
We begin with a brief screener to learn more about your needs and ensure we’re the right fit for your child and your family.
Step 3: Intake & Assessment
If we’re a match, we’ll schedule a comprehensive intake and initial assessment. This helps us understand your child’s unique strengths, challenges, and learning style.
Step 4: Collaborative Treatment Planning
